I work with clay directly through my hands, without sketches, ornamentation, or tools, and without a predetermined outcome. I allow each piece to emerge intuitively, sometimes beginning with a base, sometimes with a body, as if asking permission to proceed. This process becomes a quiet, almost sacred pause in time.
Though my creative journey may appear chaotic, it is guided by my presence and joy. If my work invites the viewer to smile, it is because it carries the happiness I experienced while creating it.

I am a local Raku Ceramics artist. My handmade creations are whimsical sculptures that transmit movement and fantasy. They invite you to imagine your own story for each unique piece.
Raku firing is “a firing process in which work is removed from the kiln at bright red heat and subjected to post-firing reduction (smoking) by placing in containers of combustible materials, which blackens raw clay and creates cracks in glaze.” - Paola Effio
